I've been trying to learn 2D animation in Moho 14 lately. It's been a slow process, but I feel like I'm starting to understand a few things. In particular, I'm having to un-learn a lot of things/habits that work in 3D but don't in 2D.

It's also an extremely satisfying "number goes up" experience that gets very cathartic as your multipliers stack up to ridiculous levels. I still think $20 is quite steep, and that this should have been a free update, but I feel a lot less bad about paying for it now that I've dug a bit deeper.
