This is really interesting. Pairs well with cost reduction curve solar has achieved. Expect infrastructure will pose biggest threat to that trajectory.

Busy 2 days at COP28 representing UK cleantech. Clear that the technologies we need tomorrow are already being developed, but we need better ways to bridge the gap between innovation and deployment.

Tired of chasing shiny new things.

Let's focus on making existing cleantech work!

Flashback to the 1980s: The ZEBRA sodium battery cell. This often overlooked gem laid the groundwork for LiNa's cutting-edge technology. Leveraging proven, yet forgotten innovations can fast-track tech development. A nod to the past, powering our future. 🔌💡

Deep-tech is a cosmic game of Whac-A-Mole — we constantly hammer away at the unknown, and it's only when you step back that you realize you've actually built a constellation. Team LiNa assembling our first product-scale Sodium BESS for install in Dec. 🔌💡

India's Chandrayaan-3 mission successfully entered lunar orbit on Aug 2, 2023. The spacecraft is now on its way to the south pole of the Moon, where it will attempt to land on Sep 7. Chandrayaan-3 is the third lunar mission by India, and its goal is to study the Moon's surface and its environment. 🛰️

India's Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft has successfully entered lunar transfer orbit which will reach the moon's orbit in about 5 days.
The trans-lunar injection was performed on August 1st at 12:32 AM IST.
Velocity increased to 2.38km/s.
The spacecraft is scheduled to land on the moon on August 23rd.

Permanent, additive carbon sequestration: mineralization is one option.

Iceland's CarbFix project has successfully injected CO2 into basalt in the Hengill volcanic region and mineralized ~95% of injected CO2 within 2 yrs.

Carbon markets are facing disruption as investors weigh reputational risk. This has slowed or stalled new funding and disrupted the investment cycle.

And these are regulated carbon markets.

Hollow non-additive and non-permanent voluntary offsets are going to be put through the wringer...

Whales are carbon sinks. They store carbon (33 tCO2) & when they die, their carcasses sink to ocean floor, removing it from atmosphere for centuries. They also help phytoplankton grow, which captures carbon too. 🧪

Not very interested in the prospect of a valuable crypto coin, but I do think a tokenized proof of being human is an interesting asset within an increasingly AI-infiltrated world. So I got ORB'd.
