I genuinely do not understand how hockey and football teams matter in the slightest in this discussion. Honestly. Those are completely different games where things like momentum and emotion actually matter. In baseball you get your turn and they get theirs, no matter what.

That's not what you said, though. You said you've seen this movie before and it doesn't end well. Did you mean in 1985? Seriously? Or did you mean the Leafs?

I don't see any comparison to the 8-1 game in 2022 other than they blew a big lead. Extremely different games.

Davis has at least turned himself into an above-average outfielder, though. I'm not in a rush to take him out in the third inning with a lead. Santander is a whole other story.

It's very easy to predict doom and say you'd love to be wrong, because that way either you're right or you're happy.

I'll answer the question for you - the only time in #Bluejays history that they've lost a playoff series that they were one win away from was in 1985.

#Bluejays scored 29 runs in the first 19 innings of the series, then after Aaron Judge hit his game-tying homer in the bottom of the fourth, went 2-for-17 the rest of the way.

They'll have a chance to win the series tomorrow night.
