Reminiscent of 1980s Network SouthEast, but brasher. Though not a fan of Southern, I prefer their gentle green livery trundling across our green landscape - recalling BR Southern Region and the original old Southern Railway, which had plain green trains. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:15...

That's the sort of thing I mean (I do go back to the age of steam 😉)...I don't relish the proposed garish colours streaking about the countryside - very jarring imo!

It's a shame! I loathe red, white & blue together & was hoping for more of a nod to BR days with rich, shiny deep green to blend with the landscape...
