Initial fee for a kid, who is yet to make a senior appearance, about twice as much as Arsenal get for a Ukrainian full international and multiple title winner.

Took Wolves for granted. Unacceptable complacency. Very nearly got punished for it.

It’s bound to happen when you routinely jump two feet in the air with no contact from your opponent. Surprised his leg is still in one piece.

@gunnerblog.bsky.social @arseblog.com Our six Dec league games are Brentford (h), Villa (a), Wolves (h), Everton (a), Brighton (h) & Villa (h). (1 UCL and 1 EFL game in there too). How many league points will we win and how much rotation with more fringe players should we allow? #arsecastextra

Ellen MacArthur, 27,354 mile solo circumnavigation of the globe (71 days, 14 hours, 18 minutes and 33 seconds). Props to the men at Marten Yachts NZ who built her boat, thus putting it on a plate for her.

Jesus, Havertz, Madueke, Martinelli, Odegaard and Saliba all out. But still the options look elite.

@gunnerblog.bsky.social @arseblog.com Which defeat did you enjoy the most? Liverpool’s, Chelsea’s or Man City’s? Personally I loved Chelsea losing in the last minute to newly promoted Sunderland the best, even though Chelsea probably pose the least threat to our title ambitions.

Having read Alexei Navalny’s book ‘Patriot’ this year, this joke could have been Made in Russia and would also certainly appeal to Navalny’s dark but irrepressible sense of humour.

Goodly Morning. @arseblog.com @gunnerblog.bsky.social Havertz, Madueke, Jesus and Hincapié out injured. Yet Nwaneri doesn’t even make the bench. With the new risk of underused players getting restless and agitating to move elsewhere to actually play, is our squad now too big? #arsecastextra

Ed, no one will notice or care that you’re not there. This will make as much difference to Gaza as me putting one less teaspoon of sugar in my coffee.

I tend to think the delay is more likely explained by the massive implications of a guilty verdict and savage punishment than by finding City innocent.

Respectfully disagree. Sterling‘s loan move to Arsenal has no redeeming features whatsoever in my opinion - except perhaps to finally, once and for all, teach Arsenal‘s recruitment division that Chelsea is a very bad place to go shopping.

Completely understand why you left Twitter. It has certainly become more unhinged since becoming X. There’s lots I really don’t like on there. I don’t think Musk’s gesture was a nazi salute though.

Sensationalist report blaming Thomas Partey for Rodri’s ACL injury was the reason I vowed to not renew my subscription. Meh.

Happy to see this hasn’t been taken down (yet) by overzealous moderators. It would be a real pity if Twitter descended into being a nauseous bubble for the far right and BlueSky became the same for the extreme left.
