There is a great deal that Wind Harvest surveys at a potential site before our VAWTs start to be put in place. Met Masts (aka meteorological masts) need to be installed at sites to get measurements to create more accurate wind prediction models on what our VAWTs will be able to do for the location.

We often like to envision a world where wind turbines are plentiful. Take this Walmart Distribution Center in Cheyenne that requires large amounts of electricity - here we imagine the vast amount of unused space being filled in with VAWTs, lowering their costs and carbon footprint

We put many resources into surveying wildlife in the areas that we consider building our turbines to keep them safe. During our trip to St Croix we took footage of birds around our coast site and we were able to witness the amazing power of the unharnessed winds here as birds seem to hang in place
