Rereading Pratchett's books is a different experience when years have passed, especially the later ones. It is sad to finish them all the first time, but don't underestimate how much you might get from them in the future.

Gaiman was always an author I had mixed feelings about. I guess I hoped Pratchett would influence him to be more insightful into human nature. Now it's clear why he wasn't ever going to be receptive to self-scrutiny.

Going Postal, The Truth, and The Wee Free Men felt relevant to the current times. I thought the last one was escapism, until I realized the Queen is a narcissistic fascist leader who emotionally manipulates people to stop them from seeing her path of destruction.
