I'm a tad afraid that this is a bit much, y'know? Like, I've got so many mechanics that aren't typical to a turn based RPG so player knowledge from those might not carry over.
I just don't know how I'm gonna explain all this without infodumping to the extent where no-one remembers important shit
I was actually thinking of adding an evasion stat
I was thinking of like, it goes up to 100, and interacts with accuracy
If an attack's accuracy equals or is higher than the target's evasion, it always hits
If it's lower, then the accuracy of the move is used as a percentage to calculate if it hits

I was actually thinking of adding an evasion stat
I was thinking of like, it goes up to 100, and interacts with accuracy
If an attack's accuracy equals or is higher than the target's evasion, it always hits
If it's lower, then the accuracy of the move is used as a percentage to calculate if it hits

So, the way targeting works is:
"Hits one" means it hits one monster of your choice. This type of targeting can also have the "cannot hit self" line, which means you can target every other monster except yourself.
"Hits a suit" means hits either both the opponents or both of your monsters

Redownloaded Duel Links again, and ngl, I think they made some good changes.
The DM characters are available without having to get to level 12 (or 7 can't remember), and instead have their unlock missions unlocked by secret objectives which is a good idea I believe.

They're so empty it's kinda sad.
I've got the name, attribute and class symbol, and I have nothing for the other half of the card.

I've decided to completely alter the original card design before you fuckos even get to see it lol
I just think having the symbols mirrored doesn't make much sense, because in the actual cards, they're mirrored cause you're round a table and the others need to see what you played
Not me redesigning the redesign before I've fully redesigned the redesign by redesigning the redesign completely differently than the redesign initially was redesigned.

I've redesigned the class icons to be slightly bigger cause I'm changing the cards to be slightly bigger so I can fit the words in a satisfying way while also maybe including the attribute of the card as well.
Obviously I'll have to adjust the number cards to match, which may change some things, idk

Form cards will now have a class and a new feature, called an attribute.

An attribute is basically a classification of all the different forms, between Earthbound, Abomination and Celestial.
E > C > A
C > A > E
A > E > C
Okay, so I think a good idea would be to make number cards with classes, and introduce something new for the form cards.
Idk what I'd use, but whatever, idgaf anymore my idea Medea has run dry

The worst part about the class system, imo, is that there is no coverage across moves. I'm playing with the idea of having Barrier, Healer and Enabler moves not just be status moves, but like melee, ranged and magic attacks, respectively. I don't know how I'd show this, but I don't want-

I've designed the class type matchup section to kinda be like expanded rock paper scissors, so not all of them will make sense.
