As I set myself into this journey, again, trying to carve out time and focus to pursue my creative ideas, I found myself thinking last night about how it parallels my running history. More importantly, I was looking at my running starts and stops, and attempting to glean some wisdom that could help me maintain focus.An oversimplification is the analogy of progress: How do you run a marathon?

After posting “The Invisible Son”, I started tho think about providing some balance in perspective. My independence has grown in more positive ways. Back in school, I had two very good friends. We hung out and did everything together: bus rides downtown after school, bike rides nearly everywhere, explorations into the 10 acre wooded lot or the forbidden passages behind the stores in the mall.
