Had that happen before, and I love it honestly.

My first playthrough of Pokemon as a kid, I made the mistake of only leveling up one Pokemon (my starter Squirtle) up through to the S.S. Anne. When I realized my error, I restarted the game...and then played Jade Cocoon. <_>; Pokemon became Future Me's problem.

Also, the flipside of it is that it does help build a personal portfolio or even a journal of your writing.

For me, it has to be something that resonates with you. If it's something that you feel strongly about, something you want to get out of your system, or something that you just want to talk about in some fashion, I find that helps with that feeling immensely as a "passion project" of sorts.

I've had this sort of discussion several times in writing/editing circles. Not every villain needs to be a "shade of grey", cool, or relatable. Some villains are realistically just vile, and that's perfectly ok. Scar is one of my favorite Disney villains for example. Kefka for FF.
