We had temperatures in the low teens when I first got my chickens. So I brought them inside. The tub was a mess, but they were nice and warm. One of them even managed to turn on the sink! It’s a good thing I was nearby and heard the water running.

My Dad used to be prejudiced,too. I guess it was the era they grew up in. But he was a baseball photographer, and he learned from hanging with the players that they all had the same hopes and dreams, whatever their race.
