definitely is a curious thing. I wonder if it comes from bad knowledge on what an animal’s heat is, or just like what you said people glossing over periods became it’s “dirty”. Heats in real life have bleeding, hell there is even bleeding involved when implantation happens in humans.

Because alot of people write omegaverse preheats/just heats with cramps and then you get cramping after because your uterus lining wants to cause problems. And that doesn’t even touch all the hellish things about heats and periods.

While in my omegaverse, I do write periods in because of biology (even though omegaverse won’t ever make biological sense). As an AFAB person, I can't help but think of the practical hell it would be to have a heat and then a period.

Definitely surprising, but please tell me that it didn't cause a lesson about it.

What kind rules are in your world of omegaverse. Because my omegas wear collars so a alpha may give them a courting collar. Which just basically jewelry. If that is not your thing giving nesting material with their scent, definitely give food, or doing acts of service for the omega. I could go on.
