It's so impressive the natural onion skin dye (Red onion skin, as photographed next to it) the darker shade had iron oxide added. The paler shade was only dipped for about 2 minutes.

⬆️...It does have the potential to be more ethical than traditional silk manufacture-no boiling in cocoon).
The golden colour of Ahimsa/Peace #silk here is inherent and natural (not an added dye) deriving from the leaves the silk worms eat.
It has a beautiful bronze sheen. #textiles #woven
