Marc stein reporting mavs have interest in Jrue Holiday. That’s the second team with reported interest (first is the kings) in Jrue. I maintain Jrue will have positive value on the trade market despite the discourse around his contract

the plan is to make choices. if you have a buget and a certain inventory of future picks and u extend everyone and have to pay future picks to get off money, what was accomplished. and the extension in question was Jrue's not Derricks

Willing to bet the farm jrue actually gets traded for positive value
Trading guys into someone’s full MLE should be something we do with the salaries we get in a holiday/kp trade to reroute them instead of doing that with hauser.
Then Sam Hauser gets traded into someone's full MLE for $10 million more in savings and they're under the second apron by about $4 million.
I know the whole thing sucks, but that's what this summer is going to be. It won't be pretty

It all depends on the package. The draft pick heavy packages dont make sense because JT is going to need a co-star when he comes back. The only JB trades that make sense are the obvious upgrades (Giannis?) or ones where you get a younger star (but why would the other team do that?)
I don't think the Boston Celtics should or will trade Jaylen Brown. Once Tatum comes back, they will be very good again. Why would they trade away a player that would immediately become the biggest need the next season: a second star next to Tatum.
I dont understand where this idea comes from
