It's the best games of the entire series actually. Put a good 50 hours into it. Since it's also not connected to the other games in any other way you can play it as a new player.

It’s been very refreshing that everyone here has been doing things in good faith. As funny some arguments get, it really feels quite suffocating.

I've been wanting to watch Rashomon but don't know where I can watch it.

I have tried to pace myself cause the main story itself takes 20~ hours and the side content can easily double your playtime. It is one hell of a long ride though so take your time and don't be pressured to catch up

The random encounters really wear you down lol. Despite that I really enjoyed the story

Judgement takes place between 6 and 7

Lost judgment takes place between 7 and Gaiden.

However Lost judgment does spoil a major, and I mean REALLY major plot point from 7 so I recommended getting 7 out of the way. Otherwise you can just play the Judgment series after you finish the mainline games.
