ah. i have an unconventional mortgage where imagined risk was a constraint with conventional lenders. it was no issue however with a building society. might be worth a shot.

what's the logic behind that restriction? is there any?

You may have heard Peters trying to make the situation with the abducted NZers all about him

They’ve been released and their flights home paid for by the people who love them

Unlike Peters, who has all his flights paid for by taxpayers

When Maipi-Clarke was attacked, Peters denied responsibility, saying he was "not responsible" for the actions of other people. But today he is laying blame on Chloe Swarbrick and the "hate filled left" #nzpol #kiwi
NZ Herald

Peters says he has no doubts Swarbrick's rhetoric on Gaza incited vandalism on home as man charged Highlighted text about attacks on Maipi-Clarke:

Peters told Newshub that notion was wrong, adding that he was not responsible for the actions of other people

ppl have no idea eh. i got a job in sawmill down here once. i got it through a tip from the publican of the pub i used to drink at. went to see the sawmill manager and all he did was ask me if i'd used a chainsaw before. no cv, no safety course/ accreditation/reference ( apart from the publican :)

what does luck look like? i'm pakeha and don't experience racism/discrimination-huge. a stable family background. physically fit, no disability. no 90 day trial period existed, no youth rates. overtime was compensated back then. rent $90p/w shared between 2. none of this was due to personal choices.

left home at 17. found work in another town, another island in fact. travelled back and forth with the seasons. never unemployed, even when the rate was high.
i was lucky i could do this. most of life is luck- a roll of the dice, a series of flukes mostly. luxon hasn't the wit to comprehend this.

the bongo drummer launched a fearsome defense. as a creative individual it was his right to express that creativity whenever it inspired him. creativity was a precious thing, a gift in fact. at this point the visitor told me he had to restrain himself from punching the selfish prick in the head

decades ago someone commented on their visit to tui community. there was a group meeting. a heavily pregnant woman was distressed- she couldn't sleep due to another community member playing his bongo drums all hours of the night. the commune members listened politely to both sides of the story..
