A pity that the Colosseum--that monument to violence, enslavement, and animal cruelty as ENTERTAINMENT--is being sullied through this crass consumerism.
The Colosseum, in partnership with Airbnb, plans to give a select few people the chance to learn the art of gladiator fighting at the ancient arena. The “immersive experience” has caused an uproar among many Romans who say it demeans the cultural treasure.

Remember: nothing is permanent and we're all going to die, so eat your avocados while you're eating them, listen to the music that's playing, and scratch that itch (you know which one...).
