🚨 New Paper 🚨
Coauthors and I just published our work in PLOS One on Canadian graduate funding. We found that Canadian graduate funding falls _well_ below cost of living.
On average, $10kCAD below cost of living.

Excited to see this out! Congratulations to all the authors and thank you to collection editors William McShea and Hila Shamon.

This collection was sparked by a session of the same name at the 13th International Mammalogical Congress held in Anchorage, Alaska two years ago #IMC13

It took decades for the work of Mary Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell, and Shimon Sakaguchi—the winners of this year's Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology—to have clinical relevance. That and more of the best in @science.org and science in this edition of #ScienceAdviser: www.science.org/content/arti... 🧪

important article highlighting the continuing benefit to both mother and newborn of vaccinating pregnant women against Covid.

The US under RFK Jr just stopped recommending vax for pregnant women. The UK has withdrawn vax for pregnant women too - I think both are very stupid decisions.

We had to say goodbye to our lovely cat Mitten last week.

If you ever spent time on a video call with me since I’ve been working from home, you’ve probably had her crash one of our meetings - she LOVED people. It’s much quieter around without her purrs and opinions and she’s very much missed
