Yeah I definitely agree, I joke about it with my younger trans friends I’ve made recently but legitimately there was so many things I learned vicariously through them that were just like honestly horrible transphobic 4chan lingo I couldn’t parse before they explained it to me LOL

I tried talking to him and asking him what was up, genuinely felt bad for him specifically but also it’s such a tight space already please don’t make me have to literally grind my ass on you just to squeeze past the table and move my little plastic army men 😭😭

The 2nd guy last night was probably harmless, I think he was probably having a fit because he stood directly behind me but was muttering under his breath and talking to himself a lot, after about an hour an employee came to talk to him as well but it makes focusing so hard for me with adhd

He finally worked up the courage to say something and he only talked to me and started asking really personal questions while I was trying to play 40k and I was like dude please get the hint 😭

The first time I went with my girlfriend and we both usually like to get really dressed up when we play since we usually go out for dinner and drinks after, some guy just walked in and then proceeded to stand directly behind me for AN HOUR without saying anything 😭

Also I feel like I have to add the disclaimer that you shouldn’t ever view your friends as some kind of collection of different backgrounds to collect and if that is your take away it kind of speaks to what I’m trying to say in the first place!! Expand your circle and learn from others it helps sm

Keeping to my irl trans and female community instead of some of the unfortunate mental struggles with dysphoria and thoughts trans femmes experience through online circles that may not be healthy for them, but they go to anyways since it feels like their only safe space.

Yeah its really sad 😭 it’s probably a lot to do with availability and stuff too, I remember a lot of people growing up didn’t even have a PC, I used to ask my parents to get a pass to those little hotel pc centers so I could catch up on webcomics, it’s just a very different world now and so quickly

I feel pretty similarly, I think a lot of it comes down to social media and the negativity and ability to slip down horrible rabbit holes because of it. When I think of the bad parts of the internet growing up it was like, accidentally clicking on NSFW flash animations from newgrounds/4chan lol
