Late October last year, I downloaded A Court of Thorns and Roses to my Kobo on a whim and started reading it, hoping I might be able to at least finish a single book before the end of the year.

I read 17 books in 2025. I'm already onto my 3rd book of 2026.

Turns out I just needed smut.

Late night intrusive thoughts: I should sell all my excess belongings, pack the rest into storage, run away to Japan for 2 weeks and buy as many second hand kimono and obi belts as I can cram into my luggage, then come back and find a new place to live and adorn it in repurposed kimono kistch.
