Yes some of GWs practices are bullshit, yes prices will continue to rise. They have overheads and they are a huge company. As they are publicly traded they will continue to raise prices until they are not profitable anymore then prices will freeze til they are again.

You could say the community thing is the same with any game system and any hobby. I’ve moved on from 40k but still close to the people I played with because the game isn’t the only reason why I was friends with them

Limited editions are for the whales of the game. They are there for the diehard fans. Fomo release boxes are always split up at a later date. A few months down the line

The only allows their models at their events, yes same as everywhere else. Most tournaments happen outside of the sphere of control that gw has. Especially in 30k/40k

Until people stop paying the prices GW will continue to raise prices. As mentioned in the report they are still struggling to meet demand. So for the vast majority of people the price really is not an issue.
