(I am biased) I like the simple web design + blog feature and functionality from Weebly free version website, vs Wix etc.

I'd have said WordPress back in the day (but solely) I am completely baffled with how much it has changed and seems far more complicated.

(even certain TTRPG Games Master world building websites could be utilised albeit it's not on theme and likely a lot of wasted features that are unnecessary..)

It really depends what your style and layout will be as to which will help work out what you want.
+ What UIs feel intuitive and helps make it feel easy to create.

You could use Obsidian as that can have a calendar and link to notes etc.
There are tons of great plug-ins to customise.
I believe it has capabilities to publish to, or be turned into it's own "wiki" webpage style.. I've not really looked into that much.

a colleague once told me back in approx 2007 when I worked in a care home:
"A body's not dead til it's warm."
