I would agree with you if we’re talking main stream, like bookstagram fiction. But I’d disagree as a whole. I think there’s some really great modern fiction that is layered and is complex and stimulating.

I agree, I’ve found some really incredible writers through fan fic alone. Wishing they’d write something original, because they’re skilled.

I disagree, I’ve come across one that wasn’t terrible and I enjoyed the characters and the dynamic. I feel that people who are in the kink community would be people working through or embracing things they’ve struggled with, and see dark romance as similar.

You think fiction as a whole is for the immature, or just the dark romance niche?
