i've personally found the finch app so helpful in getting things done because it turns tasks into a game and i get to take care of a cute bird!! (it doesn't always stop the procrastination but it helps me a lot with basic tasks) 🤍

it feels a little weird, i only briefly interacted with her, we followed each other sort of silently, not much more. but she truly inspired me so much and her departure shook me a lot.

i am too far away to be there at her celebration of life but this is kind of my tribute to her.

i drew this the day she told us goodbye, as she was still with us. when she passed and since then, i couldn't finish this. i initially wanted to leave it as it was, as it felt it mirrored her being gone too soon, but i did touch it up a bit today and decided to share it with you.

while i'm more of a cat person, black hound #folklore fascinate me! they are often thought to be a death omen so this is what i wanted to convey here, in the form of a messenger of death adorned with graveyard symbolism. the winged skull is quite known to mean memento mori, remember you will die.
