I often use numerology in my spells. I use odd numbers of herbs, objects, or repetitions of phrases help with spells where I want things to change or shift, and for things that require stability, I use even numbers, especially the number 4. So 4 pieces of cinnamon and 4 of Rosemary. #Witchsky

Welcome, little Camellia bud! The red Camellia was associated in Victorian times with love and passion, and in European magic with Venus or the moon and the element water. Not this variety, but C.sinensis is the source for tea. Garden Camelias are C. japonica. #WitchSky #Witchcraft

It's early in the year, but one of my borage plants is blooming. I add a few flowers to salads, float them in water, or place them on my altar for courage. This is one of those plants that the energetic emotional properties work no matter what form you use it in. #WitchSky #GreenWitch

I have a couple of ancestors who were buried in Minneapolis. It's recent enough that their bones are still there. Maybe those bones want to go haunt a few dreams of a particular ice officer or maybe all of them.

The region I live in is witchy enough that a local realtor sends out a moon calendar with graphics of edible plants as a 2026 card. And as a plant person, I want to add, be careful. There are many lookalikes for these plants that are poisonous. #WitchSky #Witchcraft

I have done a lot better with January once I figured out that I need to allow myself as many moments of quiet as the crazy pace of our culture will allow. Not everyone can, but what about you? Are you able to take some moments to reflect and be with yourself? #WitchSky #Witchcraft
