When I was working in a public high school, funding was hard to come by, but when we did project based learning, I think it made us more resourceful. We loved beating the privates at debating. Made our flash uniforms for the occasion.

I worked in school offices. One of the whinges I heard often was “but I can’t stop them!” I tried to remind them that they were in charge, and early on, they could just remove the cable to the electricity. Later, it was changing the wifi password. Setting a good example first though, always best.
