Just a heads up - the writing style for this post is unique in that I wanted to get down a series of notes in a very clear fashion - please do not take its style as one future posts will follow!

Specifically, I will analyse two presidents who faced similar trajectories - leaving office as unpopular presidents, remembered today as great ones - namely, President Grant and President Truman.

I am looking forward to identifying patterns in their reassessment by which Biden can be compared.

Secondly, and I'm very excited about this, amonst many liberals (present company included) the prevailing sentiment is that Joe Biden will be reassessed decades to come and identified as a better president than the public consider him today.

I hope to illuminate this sentiment.

I've always adored writing, and seen it as a great way to express myself and my views. I don't promise to be a ideologue, but what I do promise is a genuine and open perspective, always welcoming feedback, always including others, and always producing fresh insight.

Populism and indulgence on both sides of the political spectrum have simultaneously brought electoral victory yet also administrative disaster. The world is becoming more uncertain, multipolar, dynamic - as Kagan would say, 'the jungle is growing back'. I today that words matter more than ever.
