I always get distracted by folks replying in ycomb/hackernoon and spend too much time reading comments I didn’t want to. Not sure why it was easier for me to ignore twitter replies over the others, but I’ll have to adapt in this new world.

The “Lists” function of twitter was the curation method that removed all other sources than tweets authored by folks I wanted to read and knew weren’t toxic.

I found a method of curation that worked (at the time, it’s broken now) so I could keep up to date with tech trends and social issues while not bogging myself down with the responses of bad actors.

If I wanted to learn more, I used a search engine to learn more rather than read the toxic replies.
