Nobody knows exactly what kind of experiments are done in the depths of the E.C.H.O Laboratory, neither of whom are the ones operating there. With all of the members of the laboratory possessing code names to avoid any identity compromise, it can be considered that the interior is completely isolated from the public eye for whatever reason they might have. Besides the fact it's directly funded by the government, "We put our efforts for you to have another opportunity in life" is the only clue given to people about this. Some might not care, others don't think about it too much, but a few think about what this could mean. But in the end, it is not like it's none of their business. After all, people with low survival chances due to medical conditions started being transported inside the E.C.H.O Hospital, which is linked to the underground laboratory, with the promise of "helping" them. Maybe they mean well.

Created some time ago when Windows XP was still an active system, Prisma was a fairly popular art program for its time. Developed by the ███████ team, Prisma presented itself as an art application for anyone interested in exploring this field, being accessible enough for beginners while also appealing to those with advanced knowledge. What drew the most attention, however, was the program’s main mascot: an energetic and motivating girl who shared the program’s name, giving personality to the user experience while providing art-related comments or advice. As time went on, Prisma received certain updates to keep people interested once Windows XP was no longer the focus of many computers, until a few years after its launch, development on it was ultimately concluded by the team. And although what happened with Prisma was unknown to many, being considered just an old computer program that existed during the golden era of that system, it wouldn't be until the next decade that she would make her return to the newer computer systems. At the beginning of 2021, a revamped version of the art program would be launched on the internet by a new team that was given ownership of Prisma, giving the previous, already aged system a more modern upgrade to keep up with the standards that newer apps would have, giving Prisma a worthy comeback as the main mascot of the new program. Now with a redesign, livelier and more notable personality, and more options to interact, she wouldn't be the only character involved in this new comeback, with Chroma being a new integration into this as Prisma's younger sister and the second personal assistant that users would have.

Despite what someone might think from a simple point of view, Mallow is a 19 year old squirrel boy who, over the course of his life, has developed a certain liking for adopting a more feminine/pinkish appearance as a form of his identity, embracing it as way to express himself in a better way. (In short, what some would call a Femboy) His confidence in himself, being the reason why he has remained firm on himself despite the negative judgement of others, ended up being the reason a certain dog girl with an enjoyment for coffee would look up to him.
