Just a boy, standing in front of a social media screen, asking it to love me. Come to think of it, doesn’t seem that healthy. Politics, Oil Pastels and thoughts on films.
Whatever it is that’s so horrendous I suspect that primarily it’s horrendous to his twisted mindset, rather than the many things that the world at large might consider horrendous. I suspect it reveals him to be subjugated in some way he finds shameful.

Part of me wonders too if what he doesn’t like about the Epstein files is that Epstein was better connected and more powerful than him, and that whatever’s in the files and their history, even to him, lays bare his weaknesses. Andrew has had to face shame where presumably he experienced power.

We look like a rush hour tube train now. Still cool with keeping the 1st class enforced? Happy with your choices?

A very particular kind of moustache… you know…. Like Charlie Chaplin’s.

This is weirdly incredibly touching. The rise of a genuinely coherent sensible left wing is not something I thought anyone could ever really believe possible but it does seem possible somehow. It’s like the anti thatcher. There is such a thing as society.

One of the best trailers I ever saw, with the dancing artists model and just the voice clips from the film.

Labour illustrating that they will literally negotiate overt racism back into mainstream politics rather than even fit a second consider rebalancing the economy slightly back towards the majority of voters. This is surely a systemic problem, with motives in the wrong place.

….financial system?

I think the Greens can really only be part of the way for sure, but I think that also means Labour need to be clear they are more than just Ed Miliband and that they do have some kind of vision and ability to improve things.
November 16, 2025 at 10:21 PM
Absolutely, but isn’t that also another reason that it matters?
November 16, 2025 at 9:59 PM
Well it seems like it might now matter significantly to the Labour back bemchers for the future of the party and to the country if reform wins. But don’t get me wrong, it would be much better to have vision and structure, how do they manage that now? Perhaps Zack will wake them up.

If it’s an honest enquiry rather than a backhanded political point I’d say the point being made is that the vision was more popular and that Starmer’s failure is vision. He’s all structure and no solution. TBH all he had was trashing the left and now he’s failing at the structure it’s a bit scary.
November 16, 2025 at 9:39 PM
Why on earth would anyone launch a leadership bid prior to this budget which actually may well sink the good ship Starmer all on its own some. Is this a preemptive display at how unpopular a leadership contest would be from Starmer?

The AI companies would be bankrupted. The investors are probably the same kinds of people/funds who loan governments money so we avoid economic collapse (which may be coming from the bubble bursting), gov can make public investments that actually create growth from funds looking for a new investment
