Let me tell you about the local cop who rang my doorbell at 930pm several nights ago. He was unmasked and asked if I had a key to do a wellness check on my neighbor. I did not, but the house on the other side had a key, so all was well. Neighbor was fine. But that’s how you do it, at least in NJ
