Red Line: Trains are single tracking between Silver Spring and Takoma because of a signal problem outside Silver Spring. Some trains will offload at strategic locations to minimize train traffic. Expect delays in both directions.

Did you know? Metro has replaced 122 of 145 escalators so far as part of its multi-year improvements project.

Stations scheduled for escalator replacement in 2025 include Navy Yard, Rosslyn, Gallery Place, L’Enfant Plaza west entrance, and Foggy Bottom.

Have you heard? The new elevator from South Hayes Street to the Pentagon City station mezzanine is now OPEN on the west side!
