Just verified the current #wmlive version for arm64 boots just fine on a #pinebookpro, thanks to #towboot enabling UEFI booting. This includes the graphical Debian installer, so no more fiddling with the serial console.

The current #wmlive distribution based on #debian / Trixie includes a few custom graphical tools that were relatively easy to create by combining bash shell scripting in combination with the included gtk2 version of yad.

It is perfectly possible to build a fully functional Franken-wmlive for 32-bit combining the Bookworm installer/kernel with the Debian/Trixie i386 software pool.
So, unless a showstopper suggests otherwise, there will also be an i386 version of […]

An experimental build of #wmlive for aarch64/arm64 has been made available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/wmlive/files/wmlive-bookworm-12.12/aarch64_experimental/

Fascists propose simplistic solutions. Most people like simplistic solutions. They have to be tried, and go disastrously wrong, and *be seen* to go disastrously wrong, before people will learn. And then those people die off and the next generation forgets, and we go through it all again.
