We had 144 entrants at the Wellington Closed Championships. We used the spare room beside the Upper Hutt dojo to create another mat area and used Smoothcomp to finish all bouts within 10 minutes.

Visited Christchurch for the Judo NZ Nationals. What a great contest in a great city. When the Judo was over there was punting on the Avon, hummus at Mashawe restaurant and bread threading in Regent Street. Also got a romantic stroll in the botanical gardens.
