I’m right there with you. At least we have the Bears to ground us.

Regardless this is the true gift Charlie Kirk gave us. The ability and permission to ignore empathy. There is no common good because there is no personal profit in it.

I guess being pretty vs smart worked out for her. She can fake smart like she fakes being an AG.

I actually assume she has no choice since she has admitted to disregarding federal court precedent orders. It’s only a matter of time before Mr. Trump throws her under the bus like he did Hegseth. When will people wake up and see?

Sir, what he did is a war crime and Mr. Trump threw him under the bus saying “I wouldn’t have done it.” Also all Kelly did was quote the UCMJ. Please explain how persecution for quoting law is sedition.

You know what SNAP buys? Groceries. You know what it doesn’t buy? Toilet paper. As any of us who have had to live on the social safety net how that works.

I don’t think they thought we would last this long. It is after all called the “American experiment”

They all are considered oldies though.

So remember that the deal Epstein made to immune her from prosecution was in the Florida district. The government says it can apply nowhere but there. Moving her outside the district may have an impact on her appeal.

Or she’s about to lie or get killed.

Serendipity is not a bad thing. I hope y’all keep going.

I kind of yield to Bannon on this one. He thinks they will lose 40 or so seats over this. That might be over the top but even a 5 seat flip accomplishes the goal. My dad was the political operative. He would have a better view. He worked for Ed Rousch. I miss his counsel.

Do you find it odd that this is one of those odd times we align with part of MAGA?
July 16, 2025 at 9:27 PM
I mean think of this. An immigrant has to be able to navigate systems in their countries of origin in order to navigate the system in the US. So that would infer a certain amount of work ethic and hutzpah to do both and those are people we benefit from. Don’t take the easy way about thinking.

This is that standard now. Nobody in government is willing to speak truth to power. Our side has lost trust. This will get worse. Stay strong.

Are they edible or just gorgeous?

I watched that game while waiting for “Night Tracks” to start. This game was definitely one of a kind that will never happen again.

So the only thing that holds the feds back is a memorandum of understanding that Eric Holder issued during the Obama administration. His reasoning was not wanting federal law enforcement to essentially fight state law enforcement. I think this administration likes forcing them to fight each other

He didn’t lie. He said he was going to go scorched earth in an effort to drag us back to the 1960s. There is nobody in his administration or the Republican Party willing to say no to him, that’s by design. And you know they have to nullify the next election because they will go to prison otherwise.

I am a Bears fan and a Purdue fan. I’m not sure “like” is the right word. “Codependency” might be more appropriate.

Not at all. Let him try. If he succeeds then we can ask President Obama to run against him.
