KQ4 has an enchanting feeling to it! It's full of magical adventures! The only thing that adds a bit to the stress factor is that there is a time limit in which you have to complete the game. Yet the timer not as unforgiving as in KQ3. You'll have plenty of time to explore, just don't fool around.

Oh yes! I played this one back around 2007! I remember it was short, but sweet!

Congrats on competing KQ3! Just like you, I find the game to be quite difficult, but fun and rewarding once you find a way to defeat the sorcerer!
I've only completed King's Quest 1-4 so far. KQ3 and 4 are actually my favorite ones of the bunch, though I heard KQ6 is awesome!

Some Sierra puzzles were purposefully obscure and difficult back then, so people would call a pricey Sierra hint-line, asking for hints... There is even a joke about the hint-line in King's Quest 4. :)

By the way, to guess the gnome's name in KQ1, you must think of the gnome Rumplestiltskin from the fable, and think backwards. R is the 18th letter of the alphabet. The 18th letter backwords is I. So the name of the gnome from KQ1 is Ifnkovhgroghprm. I'm proud to say I figured this out on my own!

No, we certainly do not want that! It would be such a shame if you never got to complete GK3! I heard that there are some issues with the Le Serpent Rouge puzzle in the game (one of the most ingenious puzzles ever created). However, the series is so popular that there have to be patches on the web!
