Not every teacher that use detectors grade with AI but some of mine did:

The thing is that if it was "not worth reading", (e.g. AI generated, you were the least competent student on their class... ), they'll just put your work through an AI to do the grading for them.

Don't want to offend teachers who do the work, and despite of all constraints, they manage to read and grade. As well as those using Ai tools to do the inhumane bit of their work.

Those who are lazy just grade with AI after checking if you used AI, and if you get any %, you get 0.

I am aware they aren't lazy, but some of mine pre-filtered our work with these tools too see which were "human" and refused to take their time to reading the ones that had any percentage but 0.

Some teachers at my school got obsessed with these detectors, but all they managed to do was dumbing the way we wrote, just to avoid trouble.

For me it mostly happens in Spanish tho, they were more picky as it's my mother tongue.

Teachers are just lazy in most cases, and i know they're swamped with other stuff, and they're like streamlining their work. But that's no excuse for not reading their students' writings, and discerning whether they use AI or not based on how they usually write.
The issue is that people who don’t use AI are being flagged as having used AI. They did the work. But various programs are being marketed as AI detectors and they’re often wrong.

Now im planning to grow some moss i got from Spain, but haven't put myself to work.

Moss is one of the things that looks easy grow, especially when you live in a tropical climate, until it just withers. But one thing i noticed so far is that moss doesn't actually die, it just dries.

I watered that same rock again, several weeks later and the moss revived.
