##Tropea so - this was Tropea. A lot of tourists. Looks like the whole city is run for tourists. Nearly every palazo has a B&B, Restaurant or Tourist shops. Infrastructure is not very good. Train system 50 years behind of the rest of Europe. Recommendation? not really

##tropea Warm and sunny but windy. Waves over a meter high in places—red flags on the beach. The brave ones are in the sea, but most are watching the waves.

##Tropea Cool, cloudy, and a few raindrops. Not what I expected. Unfortunately. It's also expensive. 30 euros per day to rent two sun loungers and a parasol.

The weather has changed. It has turned autumnal. But the first step towards the south has been taken. The train takes us to the airport.

Most European countries have various derivatives of the Latin word lumbago to describe this type of pain.
In German, it is called “Hexenschuss” (witch's shot). A much more apt description.

Lots of people. Unfortunately, the selection of flowers and bulbs wasn't very varied.

Vacation in September. The decision has been made. We're flying to Calabria. Once there, we'll rent a Vespa to explore the beaches and the hinterland. I'm looking forward to it 😀
