Exactly.

In the end, there is only one real question: did you get the shot?

Any edits are merely wrangling the sensor’s readout into line with what the eye beheld.

And everything else is fluff 😎

Modern digitals rock (with soft vintage glass), although the last camera I bought (just last month) was another (my 3rd) Nikon D700.

Love Brunelli’s street animals… very haunting indeed! 👀

The ICM is what gives it that extra character and lets it breathe. It caught me at a glance and held me awhile.

See also Olga Karlovac (although most of her ICM work is street, she does have a number of portrait shots that are strange and beautiful; haunting and beguiling at the same time).

Well, grammar rules are little wonky in this regard.

If I’m not mistaken, the apostrophe is quite correct in denoting both ownership and contraction in the following examples:

This is Jerry’s pig;
Jerry’s also a pig.

It’s a truly slap-dash state of affairs, and autocorrect simply can’t right it 😜

 It would be nice, but this was a January shot - the ice columns won’t be there yet. I want to catch the rock in that area in Oct with it’s first real coat of snow; maybe up Hwy 93 up to Jasper, or south to Assiniboine…  Sorry I missed you in the area - couldn’t get away quite yet

Oh, I know - took this a few miles west of there, about 6,000ft above the tiny town of Field, BC.

The minerals in the water also colour the ice glacier blue. Headed back there in a few weeks 😎

That’s because they are.  Ten years into this nightmare, and you still see and hear news stories “exposing them”, as if the people who had a choice and still chose this aren’t thrilled with the carnage. And everyone on the other side thinks “someone” will do something one day.
