In the last week I reached 150 martial arts movies watched for the first time in 2025. I decided for 2026 I would focus on rewatching movies I've only seen once.

Rewatched #GodzillaxKong while playing Godzilla monopoly with the family the other day but I decided to check out some Thai action movies with Jeeja Yanin.

"Tornado" is new this year and I highly recommend it. A young woman in Scotland in the 1790's is on the run from a gang after their stolen gold falls into her lap.

Reached 125 martial arts movies for the year. #GhostKiller from Kensuke Sonomura was easily the best.

Next recommendation:
#MartialClub (1981) from director #LauKar-Leung starring Gordon Liu, Kara Wai, Robert Mak, Ku Feng, and Johnny Wang Lung-Wei.

Rival schools, foolish young fighters, a master from the north, and one of the best final duels of the 80's. And nobody dies

Captain Janeway is #StarTrek Jason Mendoza. Her philosophy is the Starfleet captains equivalent of "every time I had a problem I threw a molotov cocktail and boom: new problem" and you know what... That's kinda perfect

Next recommendation:
#ShaolinIntruders (1983) from director #TongKai (RIP).

This Shaw Brothers wuxia is a showcase of early 80's fight choreography, as the director Tong Kai is one of the best martial arts directors of his era. It's a murder mystery with a theme on generational hate.
