I'm not posting the video or replies because I don't think this is the kind of shitty take that should get perpetual online harassment (she's already privated her account so I assume she got a lot of it) but I'm just dumbfounded by a hot take about ACEOs I just saw and just need to write about it:

I was walking around downtown Appleton to take photos and got some of this, which was recently voted into the top 100 ugliest public art pieces.

I can see why somebody would think it was ugly, but I disagree.

I was looking through my DeviantArt for stuff to post here and gosh this brings back memories.

I majored in Anthropology in college, but took some art classes as electives, including a nude figure drawing class. This class was maybe 10% actual art majors.

Some digital photography, of birds I saw at Horicon Marsh a few weeks ago, edited a bit in Krita.

I actually scanned this pinhole photograph and played around with it in Krita; the first is JUST inverted and the second has contrast added.

A couple days ago I got a new printer/scanner so I can get good scans of my projects and make stickers and things. I've also been posting them to my DeviantArt account (deviantart.com/vvolfpeach)

Within the past couple years I've been playing around with non-digital photography, partially as a low-key protest against auto-enhanced and AI imagery, but mostly... it's fun to make things.

I was weirdly enough initially inspired by a guy I was watching do wet plate photography of landscapes.

I'm still planning on posting my art and other projects to my main (@vvolfpeach.bsky.social), but wanted a space where I could ramble on and on about my ADHD-driven urge to accumulate a slew of new hobbies every month and the learning processes I'm going through. This is that space.
