10000% in a mental funk. making a huge effort to take my meds/supps daily and my T weekly. Sigh. Both will help my mood, but my brain is a PoS too.

still awake x_x gunna try to nap soon, but it's been a day of rescue dog PTSD. Kira is in a false pregnancy which has thrown her into fear/PTSD from having her litter last Nov. and not having great living conditions and losing most of her puppies.

smooshed 3 of my fingers in the car door earlier. used my left hand to brace to open the door/get the mail and my right hand on the door. didn't realize left hand was in the actual frame. thaaaaaat hurt. wasn't slammed in, but wedged. still hurts 12 hours later 🫠

worked on dog nails tonight. made a lot more progress on Kira's! that means her quicks are receding, yay! looking at pictures from where we started all 3 of us are doing sooo amazing at this! the dremel has been the best added tool EVER. so happy with our progress!!!

Kira is more than likely dealing with a false pregnancy. This girly just can't catch a break. Hoping the vet calls me back tomorrow. So far everything seems okay but I've never dealt with this 😕 it would explain a LOT of things over the last 2 weeks though....

sooooo much has happened in the last 8 months. new job, losing a dog, gaining a dog, medical issues for me -and- the new dog.....but i FIT IN at work, and that has been worth it's weight in gold. sigh.

in other news I've found a new vet clinic very close to home. i adore our current vet, but it's expensive and now it's out of the way. sigh. filling out paperwork this weekend.

Kira has an appt at 1:30pm EST and we find out if she's heartworm negative or not.....a huge step in getting her healthy x_x PLEASE WISH HER/US LUCK AND GOOD THOUGHTS!

Kira was actually in the big bed for awhile! Rowan let her and was laying down next to the bed. Kira still isn't keen on the actual dog beds, but she has a comfy sleeping pad and our queen sized bed.

Went to Shinto for the first time and ordered the sashimi dinner. Came out on a huge, heavy, dragon!! So cool and super delicious 😋

between last night and tonight i've dremeled all dog nails. i could cry form happiness. in 5 WEEKS all 3 of us have come so far in learning the dremel and getting nails in order. and with almost no meds on board, compared to having to medicate heavy. GOOD PUPPIES!!!

My birthday (14th) was a whirlwind of emotions. From wanting to cry bc my dad went to the local bakery and got him and mom something, nothing for me. But then my work made me feel worthwhile, included, made me food and got me cupcakes. A long term friend brought me donuts.

i was able to see the Northern Lights via my phone!! OH was FINALLY not cloudy!!! I froze at the lake, sure, but WELL worth it!!!
I also dremeled ALL dog nails....w/o meds??? impromptu sesh but Ro was the same as she is medicated. Kira needed lots of breaks/love but managed. CRAZY!

if you're allergic to most detergents....don't chance it and wash your hoodie at work. fml. SO ITCHY. no hives, just itchy. and i only had a tank top on under it so...lots of skin contact x_x WHOOPS.
