yes but the people making and selling the movies are also selling "choose your side" merch and you can get darth vader inspired bedroom set. Not it's not for children with pictures of darth vader on it, it's just everything is black and charcoal.

See also: Far Cry 2 relies strongly on diegetic UI elements, to the point where if you wanted to look at the map while driving, you had to put the map on the steering wheel and look at it while driving in first person. But color coded street signs would actually guide you to your waypoint.

one of my favorite transformative "turn the hud off" experiences is The Witcher 3.
I would love an AC game designed to be playable with minimum UI. It's crazy that that was such a design choice in the first game and Ubisoft just went the complete opposite direction.
