I honour all my feelings, try to stay tuned in with my self all through the day - an amazing place to be! And am pretty sure sadness at least is different to fear….

Given the natures of yin and yang, I don’t reckon it’s so much an equal risk…. But maybe folks who encounter their ‘dark’ get a sense it can be a trap because there’s so much suppressed feeling.
With the right techniques and approaches the suppressed dark can be integrated ☮️

Yes, I feel a significant difference; Tolle often seemed to frame the ‘pain body’ as something we needed to transcend. But the IFS folk seem to be validating parts and so encourage more self-acceptance….
For me it comes into focus as either self-denial, or self-connection.

I was like ‘but we can’t just be hating on our inner Firefighter’ and at that exact point he reminds us to be accepting of inner Firefighter, and that it has definite value in some situations! 💓
