How would linguist be able to decipher a child’s writing from a forgotten language? Since kids often spell things like how they sound, how much would we have to know of the language before an elementary school students writing could be understood?

I wonder how the stars look to a mantis shrimp. Out where there is no light pollution just a shrimp viewing the stars, shades of blues and purples unnatural to me, not a part of our world only the eyes of a shrimp could perceive

Crazy how much the Industrial Revolution lead to so much more discoveries about fire and allowed the government to update fire codes so much more! I wonder what architectural and engineered designs and concerns are thought of with new technology and even things like spacecrafts to keep others safe

I wonder if it was difficult to establish restrooms and personal bathrooms? I don’t mean making the outhouses and the pipes and running water, but the actual social idea that we should have set places to pee. When did the shame of not potty training your child fast enough start?

the world couldn’t all decide on metric system or imperial system but every country uses the same calendar year and same measurements of time passing? Countries even respect and track each others daylight savings time and set time zones for travel? How does that happen

In a world of robot rulers, how does the rapid evolution of technology affect them? Like ones that battery dies the second they are not charging, does evolution to newer and slimmer products and devices kill robots or are they able to be upgraded? What financial responsibilities do they have for it?

How do factories crack eggs for products like mayonnaise and egg whites? How were these products distributed before automation?? They just have some guy on a line cracking eggs for 5¢ a day??? What was even the worth of 1 egg and since no fridge could they even store products back then properly?

Post apocalyptic world where people find calander from pre pocalypse times to see holidays they know nothing of, guessing what the celebrations and meanings could have been for, adopting their own traditions on those days completely unrelated to the original holiday meanings

Is there any actual science behind mood rings? I know they are heat sensitive but does the body heat in our hands change enough to actually read and dictate mood in a way that’s visible in mood rings?
