Is all good! Terms are gonna vary. From what I can find local ones are usually referred to as open water swimming. Which I’ve been to a few of them but I haven’t encountered any segregation before. But it looks like they do competitive swimming in these places so that may be segregated maybe?

I live in the uk and never heard of anything like this? Google wasn’t helpful either. Anyone have any information about these lakes?
