I dunno, somebody else do the math on how many $1 million gold cards would need to be sold to generate "billions of dollars".

This is all because his parents didn't love him, you know.

No paywall the first time I clicked on the article (I haven't read anything on Slate in the past), but when I closed it and opened it again there was a paywall. So it seems they give you the first click for free. That guy has definitely clicked multiple times.

Virginia dropped two spots and North Texas dropped one. It was literally only Bama that didn’t get punished.
December 7, 2025 at 6:11 PM
Every other conference game loser fell at least one spot. Not Alabama, though.
December 7, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Also moved OSU down after a close championship game loss. That was the correct move, but why does Alabama get to stay put?
December 7, 2025 at 5:45 PM
Cue the SEC propaganda machine to push for Georgia to be #1. It just means more, ya know.
December 7, 2025 at 4:35 AM
Sure that too. But if you’re gonna sneak it, do it on 3rd down!
December 7, 2025 at 4:23 AM
I was talking more about the 3rd down play. It amazes the hell out of me how many teams go from shotgun and throw the ball on 3rd or 4th and 1.
December 7, 2025 at 4:15 AM
I wonder if the OC has been distracted this week.
December 7, 2025 at 4:07 AM
It’s also kinda amazing that they overturned it without seeing the ball at all.
December 7, 2025 at 3:43 AM
Just assuming where the ball is now. Indisputable video evidence where you can’t see the ball at all.
December 7, 2025 at 3:41 AM
Now do white people.
December 5, 2025 at 4:46 PM
They're foreigners. This administration doesn't give a shit about any of this.
December 4, 2025 at 7:21 PM
It's not brining back choice because Republicans actively punish you for buying hybrids or electric. I live in TN and have a hybrid and have to pay a $100 "electric car fee" when I register. I still buy plenty of gas. So it's just a punishment for wanting something other than a gas-guzzler.

Why can't he grow hair on his chin?

Pretty hard for high schoolers to make visits if games are on Fridays.
November 14, 2025 at 4:27 PM
Help me understand. How does the GOP either refusing to hold the vote or voting down anything that makes healthcare more affordable going to hurt the Dems moving forward? Why do Dems continually get blamed for everything the GOP does? They control everything! If costs skyrocket, maybe blame the GOP.
November 10, 2025 at 7:35 PM
I dunno, Dems have spent years telling people to vote for them or else the GOP is going to strip them of their healthcare and people don't seem to believe it. Maybe they think that somehow Dems will keep that from happening. Well, hard to do that from the minority. Maybe it wake people the fuck up.
November 10, 2025 at 7:32 PM
Then use it? What am I missing here? Dems say we're opening the govt because the GOP promised to work on healthcare. So when they don't and everyone's healthcare skyrockets, who's to blame? Just say we wanted to lower costs but they said no as evidenced by this vote. Use that message for midterms.
November 10, 2025 at 4:37 PM
I guess blind people can't read books either since they don't do it with their eyes.
November 10, 2025 at 4:08 PM
I'm thinking that's why they offered it. A terrible deal for the Dems to open the government and the GOP just rejected it. So who's keeping the government shut down now? They won't even accept a very shitty deal for Dems.

Ah yes, this will surely earn Drumpf that Nobel.
November 7, 2025 at 8:31 PM
I read that last line as Trump was tricked into pardoning him. Not sure if that says more about my reading comprehension skills or the intelligence of Trump, because that scenario is totally plausible.
November 7, 2025 at 8:26 PM
RFK Jr. runs out of the room to presumably go find a doctor. Because he - the head of HHS - is, ya know, not one.
