Why do we not consider it unthinkably shameful, as well as criminal, for anyone to accumulate multiple millions while countless others are on the breadline? Why are we not calling out and utterly demonising the perpetual valorisation of inequality?

New Year's resolution to save my sanity: instead of screaming "TAX THE RICH!", "JAIL THE CEOs!" or whatever, I shall find cheering or delightful things to balance the worst evil, criminal, or simply exasperating news items. Worth a try.
