I have mild aphantasia and it’s much easier to “picture” the motion of writing a word rather than the word itself, sort of how you can write words in the air with a laser pointer in the dark. I need to really concentrate to picture a specific word, and even then it’s spotty.

As a kid, at some point I started to “visualize” writing out a word by hand to remember spelling / how individual letters work, and then I just never stopped, so my font is my own handwriting.
