I've had this bandsaw (g0513) for quite some time now. I really like the bandsaw, but these inserts have always been terrible. So, I finally got around to making an aluminum insert. I'll likely do zero clearance one next, but so far it's been a fantastic upgrade.

I like using this method of stiffening the bottom of drawers when they are wider than 24".

Barred Owl

I occasionally hear owls while in my shop, but the camera never likes focusing when it is this dark. Settled for a phone picture since the sky was back lighting the owl in the branches.

This Owl was hunting over a meadow at a local park yesterday. Got a few good shots before the hawk snuck up behind it and startled it.

Bad light and slow shutter speed prohibited any decent action shots.

Went for a walk yesterday afternoon. Didn't get many great photos, but after getting a couple of decent pictures of this barred owl, a hawk came up behind the owl in flight and startled it. Shutter speed was a bit low at the time unfortunately.
